Alltech has completed the Intake Gate Gearbox Rehabilitation project at Big Bend Dam in South Dakota for the Army Corps of Engineers. The project included complete refurbishment of the 24 gearboxes that operate the power plant’s intake gate hoists. Replacement of the electrical feeders and breakers was also included.
