Lake Oologah is located in northeastern Oklahoma and is source of water for the Tulsa metropolitan area. Oologah Dam is an earth embankment dam and provides flood control, water supply, and recreation opportunities.

The Tulsa District of the US Army Corps of Engineers required replacement of the service gates at Oologah. This project consisted of removing and reinstalling the gate hoist assembly, replacing Service Gate #1 and Service Gate #2, replacing and field machining the gate frame seals, replacing and painting the steel well liner, replacing the fill valve extension, and rehabilitating the lower sheave assembly.
